CIA Industry's City of Hope Campus Tour
Every spring, the leaders of the Construction Industries Alliance industry come together at the annual campus tour to hear firsthand from doctors, researchers and schientists about the lifesaving work being conducted at City of Hope. We also unite to acknowledge the industry's incredible support and dedication tot he institution, and to honor the year's philanthropic leader of the year.

This year's campaign kick-off took place March 17 in honor of our 2014 Spirit of Life® honoree, Adrian Foley, President of Brookfield Residential. The CIA Industry tour guests learned about a variety of studies and practice areas in research currently in the works at City of Hope.

Linda Klein of Supportive Care Medicine presented on the positive effects of the Supportive Care program, and announced the plan currently in place to establish supportive care centers in other hospitals based on the City of Hope model. Dr. Jacob Berlin discussed the Molecular Medicine program at City of Hope and explained the great "bench-to-bedside" partnership that exists between the researchers and the doctors at City of Hope. The group also heard from Dr. Peter Lee about the exciting research in Cancer  Immunotherapeutics & Tumor Immunology. The tour came to a close at the House of Hope where Dr. Dr. James Waisman, M.D., a highly respected and well known expert on breast cancer, gave an update on the Department of Medical Oncology & Therapeutics Research.

To be involved in the 2015 tour, please contact our Construction Industries Alliance philanthropy team at (866) 905-HOPE.

2014 Construction Industries Alliance Personal Giving Club
The Construction Industries Alliance Personal Gift Club Program was established by leaders in our
industry who wanted to establish a larger personal and/or family relationship with City of Hope and its
life saving work. Participation through an annual personal contribution provides a unique opportunity to support
City of Hope above and beyond our members’ corporate participation. Taking that extra step paves the
way for City of Hope to go the extra mile – and for that we thank you.

We at City of Hope would like to personally thank and publicly acknowledge our industry
friends who submitted a personal donation of $1,000 or more to City of Hope to the Construction
Industries Alliance Personal Gift Club Program for the 2014 campaign year.
