Federal Grants (Grants.gov)
Grants.gov allows organizations to electronically find and apply for more than $400 billion in Federal grants. Grants.gov is THE single access point for over 1000 grant programs offered by all Federal grant-making agencies.
Community of Science (COS)
COS maintains a database of grants, fellowships, and other funding information from public and private, domestic and international sources. Though the name refers to holdings on science funding, this service also offers a wealth of information on social sciences, humanities & community outreach funding. Creating a COS Funding Alert is an invaluable tool for most researchers investigating their funding options.
Register or
update your COS profile to receive funding alerts of all new opportunities in your discipline.
Illinois Researcher Information Service (IRIS)
IRIS also maintains extensive information on funding for the sciences, social sciences, and humanities. When performing a concentrated funding search, ORS recommends performing an identical funding search in COS and IRIS. Though the databases do contain like information, they each also contain funding opportunities not listed in the other.
Register or update your IRIS profile to receive funding alerts of all new opportunities in your discipline.
