For 100 years, business has been the cornerstone of support for City of Hope, a globally recognized center for cancer, diabetes, HIV/AIDS and other life threatening disease. During much of that time, leading executives and companies from industries such as Hardware Home Improvement, Food, Office Products, Home Furnishings, Real Estate, Fashion, Music and Entertainment as well as P&C Insurance have all supported City of Hope, raising millions each and every year.
Recently, a number of executives and top producers from the Life Insurance Industry have joined City of Hope, forming the National Life Insurance Council (NLIC). The NLIIC is a body dedicated to help fund research, treatment and educational programs taking place at City of Hope through an annual life insurance industry fundraising campaign.
Fundraising programs and events are being developed as we speak. And there are a number of ways for individuals and companies to lend your very important support. Initially, in celebration of City of Hope’s 100th Anniversary, we have made a lofty goal of raising $100,000 in 2013 through personal online contributions. If 500 executives and producers from the life insurance industry each donate just $200, we will reach our goal!
To kick-start our efforts, Royce Imhoff, Managing Director of Lions Street, and Bob DiMeo, Managing Director of Crump Life, both founding members of the NLIC, have made the commitment of $10,000 in matching funds, doubling the impact of your generous donation.
Thank you for your kind consideration and generous support of City of Hope.
Sincerely,
The National Life Insurance Council for City of Hope
