Heidi Hebson is vice president of planning. In this role, she oversees planning, implementation and management of strategic initiatives that support and ensure the success of City of Hope’s short and long-term goals.

Previously the administrative director in the Office of the Chief Strategy and Administrative Officer, Hebson was instrumental in devising City of Hope’s 10-year strategic plan. In addition, she was responsible for spearheading the integration of California Cancer Specialists Medical Group (CCSMG) and Oncology Specialists of COH (OSCOH), two physician groups providing care at City of Hope.

Prior to joining City of Hope in 2008, Hebson was executive director of marketing and business development at Saddleback Memorial Medical Center and Anaheim Memorial Medical Center, both part of the MemorialCare Health System in Fountain Valley, Calif., where she oversaw a multimillion dollar budget for the nonprofit medical centers and led all marketing, public relations, communications and strategic planning efforts.

Hebson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in health science from California State University, San Bernardino and earned her Master of Public Health from UCLA.
